Q: Is there any interesting way of cooking fennel besides the usual grilling?
A: You can slice the fennel very very thin with a sharp knife or mandolin. Put it in an ice bath and it will curl up a little. Add it to your favorite salad or serve it as is with your favorite dressing. I would recommend a vinaigrette rather than a creamy dressing.
