This is Peru’s answer to Mexico’s Magarita! Refreshing and delicious!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Oz. Pisco (most liquor stores will carry this. I buy the Peruvian Pisco as opposed to the Chilean. The Chilean pisco is a little sweeter.)
- 1 Oz. Lime juice
- 3/4 Oz. simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water; heat until sugar is dissolved. Let cool and keep refrigerated.)
- 1 Pasteurized egg white from a medium egg
- Angostura bitters for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add all the ingredients except for the Angostura bitters.
- Shake vigorously until the shaker is frosted.
- Strain into a cocktail glass of your choice (should not be too large) and sprinkle some Angostura bitters over the drink.
